In glorious weather, the Schwarzach and Wolfurt seniors’ associations drove to Lech for the internationally renowned Lech Classic Festival.
In the 10th anniversary year, the musical focus was placed on the title “And the sky is full of violins” and the violins shone in the concert series. The director of the festival, Ms. Marlies Wagner, has once again managed to combine music and nature and to share the touching and enriching aspects of music with as many people as possible. On this evening, violin concertos by Bach, Vivaldi, Mozart and Paganini were performed under the musical direction of Tetsuro Ban from the Lech Festival Orchestra, by internationally successful soloists and musicians, but also by young artists. In addition to the musicians, there were also the Italian master violins – led by Antonio Stradivari. The enthusiastic audience thanked them for the touching performances with standing ovations. A special, 2-hour concert evening ended, in which Obm. Wilfried Übelher, Obm. Erwin Mohr and Obm.Deputy Stefan Fischer, together with the concert visitors, were able to look forward to another very successful activity. On the way home via the Bregenzerwald we stopped at the Gasthof Ur-Alp in Au for a cozy hock and an evening refreshment.
