Mexico City.- Five years after the earthquake that devastated buildings in the Multifamily Tlalpansurvivors, victims and their neighbors commemorated the tragedy and remembered the fatalities.
At 12 noon on Sunday, a mass was offered by Bishop Carlos Samaniego.
Later, relatives and those affected marched to the fields of the Multifamiliar and painted white hands, as an act of resignification and appropriation of the space.

The residents recognized that they have achieved the reconstruction of the collapsed building, as well as the repair of the affected houses, however, they pointed out that it has been thanks to the constant demands made on the authorities, while other victims of the earthquake that shook Mexico City they have not had the same fate.
The Multifamiliar Tlalpan is made up of 10 buildings. On September 19, 2017, it was one of the housing complexes that registered the most severe damage, which resulted in the death of nine people, and the injury of dozens more.
