95th Macy’s Thanksgiving Parade, floats, balloons and highlights

The Macy’s Thanksgiving Parade is back in all its glory, celebrating its 95th birthday with floats, balloons, celebrities and many in attendance.

The annual show is currently taking place in New York City, and you can see from the photos that there was just about something for everyone at this year’s facility. SpongeBob, Baby Yoda and Boss Baby balloons dominated the crowd to thunderous applause.

Among the celebrities who took part in this year’s parade were Kelly Rowland and Jon Batiste – who had an amazing week himself – topped the Grammy nominees with 11.

Of course, the always beloved turkey chariot made an appearance as well as marching bands from across the country.

A vaccinated Big Bird and his pal Elmo also sat atop a float for Sesame Street and excited the younger fans in the crowd.

Of course, 2021 marks the return of large crowds to the annual event. The parade took place again last year, but without crowds of people lined up in the streets.

Happy Thanksgiving !!!
