Tonight a new flight arrived in Argentina with a shipment of vaccines from AstraZeneca, to advance the coronavirus vaccination plan.
It is a shipment of 381,000 doses of the medicine formulated at Oxford from Mexico, which arrived aboard a ship from the Aeromxico company.
The plane landed at the Ezeiza airport just after 9:00 p.m. and began the process to unload these inoculations of AstraZeneca, which is expected to join the immunization plan in the next few days.
These injections are part of the bilateral agreement that Argentina has with Mexico for the production of the medicine, since the active compound is created here and then goes to the country commanded by Andrs Manuel Lpez Obrador for its fractionation.
Prior to this, other shipments of AstraZeneca for a total of 530,400. These are used to initiate and complete schedules of those who received the first dose of this drug, and also as a supplement to component one of Sputnik V.
