An accident on the A40 in the direction of Bochum caused disabilities in rush hour traffic. The fire brigade and police were on duty.
An accident between a car and a truck on the A40 at about the level of the Frillendorf junction on Thursday afternoon caused the fire brigade and police to work as well as obstructing rush hour traffic.
The truck and a Mercedes collided in the direction of Bochum. The car was pressed against the noise barrier there. As fire department spokesman Mike Filzen reported, the occupants of the vehicles involved were uninjured.
For the duration of the accident recording, the traffic was conducted in a single lane. The cause of the collision has not yet been clarified. (jm)
