This Wednesday morning (13), Acer held its new event [email protected] to present news to the public. Among them are new laptops, desktop and projector aimed at gamers.
The ConceptD line has gained a new model, while game lovers now have new PC and projector options. TudoCelular followed the online conference and tells you all the details of the products.
Acer ConceptD 7 SpatialLabs Edition
The workstation aimed at designers and developers received a new model. ConceptD 7 SpatialLabs Edition comes with support for a suite of optical, display, and sensory technologies aimed at real-time rendering and delivering a glasses-free stereoscopic 3D experience.
The 15.6-inch screen features UHD 4K resolution, is PANTONE-validated and has 100% coverage of the Adobe RGB color gamut, as well as a Delta E<2 accuracy rating. Just above the display is a stereo array of cameras to track the position and movement of the eyes and head to display images in three dimensions.
SpatialLabs software gives designers the ability to see their designs come to life in real time. SpatialLabs Model Viewer enables you to convert 3D models to stereoscopic 3D, as well as adjust HDRI lighting, textures, and backgrounds.
The proprietary SpatialLabs Go solution received an update with Artificial Intelligence technology, in order to generate 3D content through full-screen 2D content, such as photos, videos, simple games and even video conferencing.
Its main specs include an 11th generation Intel Core i7 processor, a dedicated graphics card up to NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3080, up to 64GB of DDR4 RAM and up to 2TB of SSD NVMe PCIe storage.
ConceptD 3 Convertible Ezel and ConceptD 3 16:10
Acer also made other notebooks of the line aimed at creators official. The new ConceptD 3 models feature a pristine white MAO (Micro-Arc Oxidation) coating to resist stains and abrasions to protect the aluminum chassis. All monitors are PANTONE validated and have a Delta E<3 color accuracy rating.
The models consist of a 16-inch clamshell (CN316-73G) with a 16:10 aspect ratio screen, a 15.6-inch convertible model (CC315-73G) that can come with a Wacom EMR pen. ConceptD 3 Pro (CN316-73P) and ConceptD 3 Ezel Pro (CN315-73P) models feature processors up to Intel Core i7 and NVIDIA T1200 GPU.
Acer Predator Orion 7000
The new desktops in the Predator Orion 7000 series (PO7-640) feature an EMI-compatible chassis and clear tempered glass side panels to display the Predator FrostBlade 2.0 140 mm front fans, as well as a third 120 mm FrostBlade 2.0 rear fan , lit with ARGB colors.
The top has an opening for replacing the 120 mm fan with a 240 mm fan. The built-in PredatorSense software lets you control lighting, cooler speed and overclocking. On the front, there’s the lighted teal Predator logo, with an oil-colored refractory on/off button, accessible at the top.
The CPU AIO Liquid Cooler features advanced airflow management to effectively cool system components.
Specifications and Connectivity
Among its main technical specifications is the presence of 12th generation Intel Core processors, which will be announced soon. On the graphics side, there’s a GPU up to NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3090, accompanied by up to 64 GB of DDR5-4000 RAM.
Storage options include a 2.5-inch USB 3.2 Gen 2 Type-C hotswap drive bay, two M.2 PCIe 4.0 NVIMe SSDs (up to 1TB each), and two 3.5-inch SATA3 HDDs (up to 3TB each). Windows 11 is the natively installed operating system.
Connectivity is distinguished by support for Intel Killer 2.5G LAN and Wi-Fi 6E technologies, for faster connectivity whether wired or wireless. The ports on the front are three USB 3.2 Gen 1 Type-A, one USB 3.2 Gen 1 Type-C, and two audio jacks. On the rear, there are three USB 3.2 Gen 2 Type-A, one USB 3.2 Gen 2×2 Type-C, two USB 2.0 and three audio jacks.
Predator GD711 and GD712 projectors
The Predator GD711 gaming projector stands out for offering a color gamut that reaches 125% of the Rec. 709 area ratio, 4,000 LED lumens of brightness, 2,000,000:1 contrast ratio and HDR10 support.
Among the modes are the standard with 4K resolution – focused on movies and videos – and another two for games – one for bright scenes and one for dark. The projector offers variable refresh rate from 1080p at 120 Hz for consoles or up to 1080p at 240 Hz for PCs.
It also has a screen up to 100 inches projected from just 2.70 m. There is also a 10W speaker and a remote control with an antimicrobial coating. Airflow helps to dissipate heat and provides a lifetime of 30,000 hours.
Connectivity includes two HDMI 2.0 ports for PCs and consoles, audio output for an extra speaker and three USB-A ports. One is for the projector’s hidden wireless dongle, one is for connecting wireless accessories, and one is for the DC 5V output, which also makes it possible to update the device’s firmware.
The Predator GD712 has as the only difference the presence of 3,600 ANSI lumens of brightness, but it also has support for 4K resolution.
Prices and availability
Acer has not provided specific pricing and availability for each of these products. The manufacturer points out that these details vary by region. However, there is no immediate availability in Brazil.
