Actress Stephanie Stumph on being a mom |
“I’m just hormone controlled!”
Since he has been there, it has been built close to the water…
Actress Stephanie Stumph (38, “Stubbe – From Case to Case”) has been the mother of a small son for three months. And it doesn’t just affect their mood.
In the BILD interview, she now talks about baby pounds, baby breaks and hormones …
How is she feeling in her new role as a mother?
Stephanie Stumph on BILD: “Since my son was born, I’ve slowly been working my way into the responsibilities that I will now have in the future. Being a mom is a big challenge, but also very rewarding.”
Her son’s name is Anton. Her father is a Munich surgeon, whom she met while filming “The Old Man”. When the native of Dresden broke her ring finger, she met the senior physician in the emergency room.
What exactly has changed for you since the birth of your son?
Stumph to BILD: “I’ve become much more sensitive. Since becoming a mother, I’ve been built much closer to water. I’m still completely stuck in the hormones, feel many things much more intensely. I used to be more distant in many situations. Now I’m just hormonal.”
And how are the nights with a three-month-old baby?
“Thank God I can take a nap anywhere. If only I could. But I’m actually fit.” And further: “I breastfeed my son, but I don’t even have to get out of bed at night. I have a very relaxed child.”
Is her baby break already over?
Stumph to BILD: “I’m back in full working mode, I’ve been shooting again since birth. That was also very good for me. I’ve shot two episodes of ‘Der Alte’ for season 2023 and tomorrow I’ll be shooting new Stubbe specials.”
Does she then take her little Anton to the set to breastfeed?
Stump: Of course! When I work, my son is always with me on the set. Everyone in the family also helps, they practically pull themselves together.”
Amazing: After three months Stumph has already lost all the baby pounds! How did she do that?
However, Stumph sees it differently. She to BILD: “You don’t know how long it took me to find something that still suits me? There’s still a long way to go before I get back to the original state. But that’s totally fine. But baby pounds don’t bother me at the moment.”
And further: “At some point I will be disciplined again when it comes to eating and sports.”
