Again and again on Sundays week 24

The Kiel Week 2022 has started in Kiel: After the Corona break, there is a lot going on in my hometown, because the Kiel Week is not just about the actual sailing regatta, but also about a folk festival scattered around the city. There are even a few technology providers represented. And of course there were some new announcements this week, which I’ll summarize for you here.

Netflix, for example, wants to check whether it will keep its previous publication model for series and release all new episodes of a season in bulk or whether it is better to proceed in a dab. The latter could probably generate more lasting hype about the respective formats and, as a side effect, would bind subscribers better for weeks or even months.

The upcoming Nothing phone (1) also showed up in new pictures. Colleague Frank is very excited about the device. I myself am still undecided at the moment and am waiting for the final presentation with all the details. Samsung is already a step further: This week they presented the tablet Galaxy Tab S6 Lite (2022 Edition) with all the details.

Amazon’s Audible also presented a new special offer for subscribers this week: Audible Germany is now offering its subscribers unlimited access to a selection of audio books, radio plays and original podcasts from the entire catalog – at no additional cost. The offer also includes more than 2,000 German-language titles.

A highlight for me personally: The blockbuster “Spider-Man: No Way Home” will appear as an extended version. As a Spidey fan, I really enjoyed the film and the upcoming “More Fun Stuff” version is a must.

Caschy again tested the Maidesite SC1 Pro standing desk last Sunday. And if we look back to Saturday of last week: You could read the Com4Gaming Argon test here. This is a gaming chair with integrated cooling. I myself looked at the Black Shark 5 Pro, a gaming smartphone that can also be used as an all-rounder.

Once again, on behalf of the team, I wish you a nice Sunday and a great start to the new week tomorrow. Caschy, Benny, Olli, Felix and I would be happy if you continue reading the blog and maybe even leave a comment. There will be many more articles to read throughout the day on the blog. As a conclusion, the ten most read posts of the last week follow.
