Alimentar Card: payment to mothers with 7 children who receive non-contributory pensions begins

On Wednesday, September 1, the payment and accreditation scheme of the Alimentar Card will begin for mothers and fathers with 7 or more children who receive Non-Contributory Pensions (PNC), an extension of the benefit announced by President Alberto Fernández within the framework of the Plan Argentina Against Hunger.

“This is a fundamental step in expanding the right to food security,” explained the Minister of Social Development, Juan Zabaleta, through a statement.

The payment schedule is detailed below, in accordance with the completion of the National Identity Document (DNI) number.

0 and 1: Wednesday, September 1.

2 and 3: Thursday, September 2.

4 and 5: Friday, September 3.

6 and 7: Monday, September 6.

8 and 9: Tuesday, September 7.

It was also indicated that, “until the card is delivered in physical form, the amount will be deposited in the account in which the PNC already receives and will depend on the number of children between 0 and 14 years old inclusive” .

In this universe, families with a son / daughter up to fourteen years old will be credited with six thousand pesos; In the event that they have two sons or daughters in the same age group, the amount will amount to nine thousand pesos, and for those who have three daughters or sons or more between 0 and 14 years old, they will receive 12 thousand pesos.

“This expansion of the Alimentar card is a fundamental step to guarantee the food security of Argentine families; it is a clear demonstration of the priority of President Alberto Fern├índez to start with those who need it most to reach everyone,” said Zabaleta.
