AMLO rules out support for Bolsonaro and Lula

President Andres Manuel Lopez Obrador refused to express his support for Jair Bolsonaro either Luiz Inacio Lula da Silvacandidates for the presidency of Brazilwhere there will be elections next October.

Although the federal president acknowledged Bolsonaro’s respect for Mexicohighlighted the relationship with Brazil through Lula Da Silva.

“I can’t comment on that. President Bolsonaro has been respectful of us, he has never questioned us nor have we questioned his government, but the public, notorious, our sympathy in Brazil, for Lula; but I can not say more, ”she expressed.

López Obrador said that Brazil is an extraordinary country, with a village good, hard-working, cheerful, creative, with great potential in music and sports.

“It is a brother town (…) it has a lot potential economic, many natural resources, it has oil, precious metals and above all its people, very democratic”, he indicated.

Although he reaffirmed his sympathy by former Brazilian president Lula da Silva, insisted that on political issues “the people of Brazil freely decide what is best for their country.”

Brazil’s 2022 general election is scheduled to take place on October 2, 2022 to elect the president, vice president and National Congress.
