An 82-year-old woman was brutally run over and the insurer is accused of lack of care

A speeding man hit elderly woman who was walking on Calle Sur 123, in the Iztacalco mayor’s office in Mexico City. The family of the injured person, who is 82 years old, denounced on social networks that the insurance carrier of the alleged perpetrator refused to grant a medical pass to be treated in a private hospital.

The alleged culprit, identified as Arturo “N”, caused the woman blows, fractures and trauma, for which she was transferred to the Xoco hospital. However, a family member assured on Twitter that the case has not been followed up in a timely manner, so they want her to be treated at another clinic.

In this sense, they demanded from the insurer Axa Mexico a happenssame as allegedly would have been denied because they did not accept forgiveness civic and legal to the cause of the injuries. Through a series of tweets, a young woman who identified herself as the victim’s niece stated:

Yesterday night my aunt’s children were summoned to the MP where the complaint was made, to deliver the medical pass. With treachery and advantage they wanted them to grant civic and criminal pardon. They did not sign it and as expected: they did not give them the pass medical

Likewise, through his account @Mitche_lle he shared the video in which the moment in which the woman was run over was recorded. In the recording you can see how the woman stopped at the end of the street to wait for the right moment to cross the main avenue and about a few seconds later a man in a van Chevrolet Silverado gray ran her over.

The incident occurred one street from the Mercado Tlacotal market, the victim’s workplace. She she was on her way home when she was seriously injured by the speeding driver.

The person who made the public complaint about what happened assured that his family decided to share the video on social networks to make the case go viral and get better medical care.

“Publishing the sensitive videos and photos of my aunt is our last alternative, because we are full of helplessness and despair seeing that the health of an elderly person is not given priority,” said @Mitche_lle

The user also explained that Arturo “N”, in addition to running over his aunt, pulled poles public lighting, hit multiple cars and finally crashed into a pole one corner ahead, hitting a vehicle plus.

The Twitter thread received responses from outraged netizens, some of whom even advised him what to do to get justice. The main clip with which he was accompanied accumulates more than 300 thousand views and has been retweeted more than 9 thousand times.

Among the comments that can be read are: “Remember the driver of the vehicle is responsible not the insurer. Let him fight with the insurance company. You go over the driver and he will have to see how he pays” or “What you need is a good lawyer and no, don’t sign the pardon! Although right now they make an expense but take it to court and demand a very good repair of the damage, ask the MP for preventive detention as a precautionary measure.
