Android Auto users can look forward to a new design in the future. Google announced this today for the in-car system. Over the years it has been found that there are three main features that drivers prefer to have in their cars: navigation, media and communication. This summer, Android Auto will get a new user interface that will give users faster directions, easier control of your media, and more features.
The Google Assistant offers contextual suggestions so that users in the car more productive could be. From suggested answers, to messages, to sharing arrival times with a friend or even playing recommended music, Google Assistant helps users get more done in the car efficiently.
With split screen now standard across all screen types and sizes, drivers have access to the most commonly used functions in one place – no more having to return to the home screen or scroll through a list of apps. With navigation and media always on, Google says users no longer have to worry about missing the next turn while switching to their favorite podcast.
