The iPhone 14 Pro camera bug with some third-party apps, which caused the image to shake, has been understood. Apple is preparing a patch.
The shaky camera bug on the iPhone 14 Pro will soon be a distant memory. In a few days, Apple will publish a patch to stabilize the optics of its new smartphone, which is very recently on the market: it was presented by the American company on September 7, 2022 and can be picked up in stores since the 16th.
An unstable goal with TikTok, Instagram and Snapchat
The failure, discovered in mid-September, was reported in particular by our colleagues from Frandroid. Not all iPhone 14 Pro owners are affected. The testimonies collected so far show that the issue is triggered while using Snapchat, TikTok and Instagram, three very popular mobile apps.
Internet users facing this problem also note that the basic application for the camera does not reproduce the problem. In this case, what is the hypothesis of the victims of this inconvenience? Optical stabilization that stabilizes nothing at all. A noise is also reported in some testimonials, indicating abnormal behavior of the device.
This will all be history very soon. Journalist Mark Gurman, who follows Apple news closely, learned on September 19 the existence of a patch that will restore the proper functioning of the iPhone 14 Pro and the iPhone 14 Pro Max. The resolution by a software modification is good news: there will therefore be no need to bring the iPhone for repair.
Succeeding the iPhone 13, the iPhone 14 comes in several versions (Plus, Pro and Pro Max). This new generation stands out with its dynamic notch, which makes it an interface element, but also with an “always-on” screen and a 48-megapixel main photo sensor. We summarize everything there is to know about the iPhone 14 in a review article.
