Queen Elizabeth II, Prince Charles and the Cambridges celebrate Archie’s third birthday with adorable shots that show just how much the Royal Family is looking forward to seeing him.

London – Archie is three! The little son of Prince Harry (37) and Duchess Meghan (40) celebrated his third birthday on May 6, far from the British crown and his birthplace London.

Queen Elizabeth II (96) took the opportunity to congratulate her little great-grandson on Twitter with a gorgeous photo.

There are only a few weeks left before Queen Elizabeth can finally hug little Archie Harrison Mountbatten-Windsor herself again. Duchess Meghan and Prince Harry are coming to the Queen’s jubilee confirmed in June and want to bring their children. Daughter Lilibet Diana (11 months) left the monarch due to simmering conflicts between the Sussexes and the royal family never met in person. The greater the joy.

Inspired by the beautiful view, the Queen chose a heartwarming image for Archie’s birthday tweet. The magnificent snapshot shows the monarch at her very first meeting with the then newborn. The picture was accompanied by a cute message which read: “Happy 3rd Birthday to Archie Mountbatten-Windsor!”

It was up to star photographer Chris Allerton to capture the candid moment that the Queen took part in Prince Phillips (99, † 2021), Prince Harry, Duchess Meghan and their mother Doria Ragland (65) can be seen while they all melt away at the sight of Baby Archie.

The beautiful photo was also immediately by Prince Charles (73) and Duchess Camilla (74), who also left a message for the birthday boy on the Clarence House Twitter account. The Prince of Wales and Duchess of Cornwall joined in the congratulations with “Happy Birthday Archie!” and a red balloon emoji.

The Cambridges took it one step further and chose Achie’s christening picture for their birthday tweet, which shows him surrounded by the extended royal family.
