Three hooded men carrying firearms broke into the Camellias Golf de Oberá, approached one of the owners and collaborators, after which they made off with loot of around one million pesos. The criminals escaped aboard a Toyota Hilux, domain AD880FL, owned by businessman Carlos Okulovich.
The event was recorded on Saturday, around 10 p.m., on the property located at kilometer 20 of National Route 14, bordering Campo Viera.
Due to the modus operandi, a spokesperson for the case mentioned that the thieves had carried out prior intelligence tasks that allowed them to know who was in the place and the existence of a large sum of money.
From the Regional Police Unit II they confirmed that at the aforementioned time three women were on the golf course, including one of the owners, when they were surprised by three armed hooded men who demanded cash from them.
The victims were reduced, they did not resist and they delivered the cash that was in the place, around a million pesos, as they later specified.
The criminals also stole wallets, cell phones and other valuables, after which they escaped in Okulovich’s truck.

The victims gave notice to 911, which activated an operation that included various units of the UR II in search and raking tasks.
Among the first measures was the closure of the main exits of the city. Thus, before midnight, the Police found the Toyota Hilux in a mountain area not far from the scene.
For this reason, it is not ruled out that the criminals had a support vehicle that was waiting for them near the golf course.
Meanwhile, members of the Scientific Police carried out the rigorous tests in the place, such as the removal of fingerprints and other evidence measures that allow the identification of the thieves.
During the day yesterday, the troops continued with the rakes in the area, although at the close of this edition there was no news about the perpetrators of the act.
By order of the First Investigating Court, after the proceedings of the case, the truck was returned to the owner.
