Marco Asensio has opened up about his future at Real Madrid. Speaking to ‘Radio Marca’, the attacker, whose contract with Los Blancos expires at the end of the season, says: “The decision also lies with the club, not just with me. After the World Cup we will both make a decision.” Most recently, it was said that Real will let the 26-year-old’s contract expire. Juventus Turin and FC Barcelona have put out feelers.
Asensio himself is still hoping for an extension of his working paper: “Hopefully it will work out and I will be very happy at Real Madrid for many years. Hopefully everything works out so I can stay for another ten years.” In the current season, the left footer has made 15 competitive appearances for Madrid (six points), most of them as a substitute.
