Banco Ciudad and the Public Bar Association add proposals for legal professionals

The authorities endorsed a new agreement that strengthens ties between the entities and presented new products and services for those enrolled

Within the framework of its role as a benchmark for judicial banking operations in Argentina, the city ​​Bank renews its accompaniment to the institution that brings together the vast majority of legal professionals in the City: the Public Bar Association of the Federal Capital (CPACF). During a meeting held yesterday afternoon at the CPACF headquarters, between the president of Banco Ciudad, William A. Lajeand the new president of the College, Ricardo Gil Lavedrathe authorities endorsed a new agreement that continues to strengthen the ties between both entities, and presented new banking products and services for those enrolled.

Among the new initiatives that were presented, the alternatives offered by the entity in terms of financing for the purchase of technology stand out: a preferential line of loans at a fixed rate, of up to $400,000 and with a term of up to 24 months and, in turn, with the entity’s credit cards, up to 6 interest-free installments are offered for the purchase of technology in the market place from the bank, City Store ( The proposals allow the purchase of products such as computers, cell phones, tablets, notebooks, computer accessories, monitors, desktop PCs and smartwatches, among others.

Guillermo A. Laje, stated: “Banco Ciudad has a permanent commitment, assumed for more than 60 years, with the attention of banking judicial operations; and with the Public Bar Association we continue to advance in the implementation of solutions and benefits for the bodies of justice and for all the lawyers and studios that operate with our entity”.

For his part, Ricardo Gil Lavedra, highlighted: “Being close, listening and responding to the needs of our students in order to be able to practice the profession in the best way is our priority, even more so in this economic context. That is why we signed this agreement to that they can access loans with fixed rates and also change or update their work tools. The latter is part of the Modernization Plan that we developed as a management policy”.

Banco Ciudad has an exclusive service branch for those enrolled within the traditional College headquarters located on the mezzanine of the Corrientes 1441 building – CABA. The new financing options are added to the products and services that the Bank already offers to lawyers, such as the “Professional City” package with discounted monthly maintenance for 12 months, which includes, among other benefits: Savings Bank in Pesos and Dollars; Current account; Debit Card and Credit Cards with bonus renewal; and the possibility of financing the renewal of professional registration in 9 interest-free installments.
