30 Set

As we always do, it is necessary to highlight that only models sold officially and through large Brazilian retailers were included, thus excluding those found only in import portals or sites such as MercadoLibre.

Models are ordered by value and due to constant price variation they can end up falling out of the intended order. Also, at the beginning of the article there is a list of the same notebooks organized from best to worst.

Compaq Presario CQ25

SSDs have dropped the price quite a bit in recent months, but it’s still hard to find notebooks with a good amount of high-speed storage that don’t cost a fortune. For less than R$ 1.5 thousand you will find several options of notebooks with 32 GB of SSD, which will be little for many users.

This is the highlight of the Presario CQ25: it has 120 GB of SSD with a maximum speed of 450 MB/s. There is only one SATA slot, so it is not possible to add a hard drive as a secondary to expand memory. It comes with Intel Pentium N3700 processor and 4GB of RAM (which can be expanded to a maximum of 8GB). The screen is 14 inches with HD resolution and the CQ25 comes with Windows 10 installed.

Samsung Book E30

Samsung renewed its notebook lineup this year, which replaced the old Essentials. The novelty features good quality construction with a thin edge screen and updated hardware with 11th generation Intel processor. Its screen features Full HD resolution, which is still hard to find on entry-level models.

It has 4GB of RAM and 1TB of storage. If you need to boost the performance, you can buy an SSD to use in the M.2 slot without having to give up the HD that comes with it. Also, it doesn’t have a dedicated graphics card, but Intel’s 11th generation GPU is capable of running many games without difficulty, its system is Windows 10.

The Vaio FE 15 is a mid-range notebook that features a 10th-generation Intel Core i5 or Core i7 processor, premium finish design, up to 16GB of RAM and 1TB of HD storage. The model’s technical sheet should be enough to meet all basic professional demands, but it is not a game-ready device.

Here we list two versions, which feature Intel Core i5 or i7 processors combined with 8GB RAM and 256GB or 512GB SSD storage. In both cases the processor is 10th generation and the screen is 15.6 inches. VAIO has already been quite successful in Brazil, but charged a lot for its notebooks — the FE 15 model already has a more accessible price and is compatible with similar ones from other brands.

Lenovo Ideapad S145 Intel

Lenovo also brought news to the domestic market recently with the Ideapad S145, which is an update of the much sought after Ideapad 330 that appeared a lot in our guides and is highly sought after by Brazilians. Here you have a tenth generation Intel Core i3 processor.

The weak point is for the more modest graphics card, but as the focus here is not the audience looking to play games, Intel UHD Graphics 620 can handle applications that demand 3D graphics. It’s also thinner and lighter than before, which makes for great mobility. All that was needed was a screen with Full HD resolution for the price.

Lenovo Ideapad S145 Ryzen

Looking for the latest hardware without spending too much? Lenovo has updated its IdeaPad S145 and now offers the third generation Ryzen processor which brings the RX Vega graphics chip for good graphics performance. There are several versions of the model, and here we list the intermediate with 8 GB of RAM.

It comes with a 15.6 inch screen with HD resolution and TN panel, storage is provided by an SSD with 256 GB of space. The Ideapad S145 is a model that is very successful for combining a slim and compact body, with a current design with thin edges. It has M.2 PCIe NVMe connection to expand storage with SSD without giving up HD.

Samsung Book X50

We have other models from Samsung’s Book line in our list, this time the X50 which has a more robust configuration than the E30. It comes with the latest hardware, including a 10th generation Intel processor and a dedicated graphics card, with 2GB of graphics memory.

The Samsung Book X50 maintains the simple and unobtrusive design characteristic of Samsung notebook computers, as well as easy-access ports for installing SSD. The Book x50’s TN screen has Full HD+ resolution and has good color fidelity and field of view.

Samsung Style S51

Looking for a compact, well-configured notebook? Samsung invests in the Style S51, an ultra-thin model that is just 13.7 mm thick and weighs 1.29 kg. It’s made of solid metal for added rigidity and durability with a Diamond Cut finish that adds a sophisticated, elegant look to the metal body.

There is eighth generation Intel Core i3 processor with 4GB of RAM and 256GB of SSD. The 13-inch screen has high resolution and strong brightness, and combined with sound with Dolby Atmos you will have the best multimedia experience. And despite the more compact keyboard, the Style S51 supports ABNT. All this with the right fingerprint reader to speed up authentication and forget about passwords.
