Between Algeria and France, Karim Zedadka has made his choice

SSC Napoli’s Franco-Algerian defender Karim Zedadka has opted for Algeria. He thus follows in the footsteps of his brother Akim, a resident of LOSC Lille and who celebrated his first call to the Greens last June. The young defender has the ambition to seduce Luciano Spalletti to hope to play in the first team of Naples.

Aged 22, the Franco-Algerian defender of SSC Naples, Karim Zedadka, has made his choice concerning the country he will represent on the international level. He decided to opt for Algeria. “My choice was made several years ago. It is for Algeria that I want to play”. He said in an interview with the Emirati media “Al-Ain”.

The young defender therefore decided to follow in the footsteps of his brother Akim. The latter, celebrated his first summons to the Greens on the occasion of the last internship of June. The two brothers could therefore play together in the future.

His ambition: to play in the Naples flag team

Born on June 9, 2000 in Pertuis, France, Karim Zedadka was spotted by SSC Naples in 2018. The flagship club in southern Italy did not hesitate to recruit him. Only, he has not yet had the chance to play in the first team.

Returning to the club this summer after a season spent in Belgium with Charleroi, the young Franco-Algerian defender aims to seduce coach Luciano Spalletti. “I won’t hide from you that Ghoulam and Ounas made my adaptation to Naples a lot easier. I train as normally as possible with the group and my ambition is to seduce trainer Luciano Spalletti. I hope to have the chance to play in the first team from next season”. he indicated.

It should be noted that Karim Zedadka is under contract with SSC Napoli for two more seasons, i.e. until 2024. While he is keen to play in the first team, he could finally be loaned again to another club. , report several Italian media.
