Between applause and ‘cheers’ they recognize policewomen who guarded March 25N

Between applause and ‘Vivas’, the 400 policewomen from the Secretariat of Citizen Security (SSC) who participated in the operation for the March 25th of November.

Through his Twitter account, Omar García Harfuch, Secretary of Citizen Security and the Head of Government of Mexico City, Claudia Sheinbuam, also recognized the work of the uniformed women.

More than a thousand policemen from different metropolitan groups paid tribute to the female elements Athena, Banking and Industrial Police and Auxiliary Police who participated in the security and protection tasks.

The male elements formed a formation along the esplanade of the Zócalo in Mexico City, from the National Palace to Madero Street, while a war band sang the martial touches that would accompany the parade of the female groups.

Some commanders shouted “very well, very well done” as the policewomen passed by. And the cries of “PBI … PBI …” are also heard.

As the contingent passed, white and orange handkerchiefs waved to give a touch of joy to the celebration.

Notably excited, some police officers recorded this emotional moment with their phones.

And although his previous marches also received recognition from his colleagues, this November 25 is the day in which more elements have participated in this well-deserved applause and recognition.

At the conclusion of the demonstration on Thursday, personnel of the Government of Mexico City began the cleaning work in the vicinity of the National Palace.
