Bottles of baby milk massively recalled in France

The Candia milk brand has launched a massive recall of baby milk bottles, due to a problem that could affect the quality of the liquid.

Lhe milk brand Candia has recalled its bottles of “Candia Baby Junior 4 20 – 36 months”, due to leaking problems.


The product is the subject of a massive recall on French territory, explains France Info. Marketed throughout France, “Candia Baby Junior 4 20-36 months” milk is present in stores such as Carrefour, Auchan, Cora, Intermarché, Casino and even U stores.

Sealing problem

The product recall site Rappel Conso indicates that “these products have been manufactured and/or stored under conditions that do not allow satisfactory health guarantees to be provided”. For this reason, the article is therefore likely to present a health hazard to consumers.

Some consumers had indicated that they perceived sealing problems or packaging anomalies, with micro-leaks that could affect the quality of the milk.

Consumers are therefore requested to bring the product back to the point of sale and not to consume it. The affected lots are: 22SM4047185, 22SM4047186, 22SM4047187 with a best before date of March 1, 2023 and lots 22SM4047185, 22SM4047186, 22SM4047187 with a best before date of March 1, 2023. No other Candia products are affected by this recall .
