It’s a short sentence from her fiancé that probably gives her the greatest comfort right now.
Pop star Britney Spears (40) lost her unborn child to a miscarriage. She named it “Miracle Baby” after announcing her pregnancy in April.
“It is with deepest sadness that we announce the loss of our miracle baby early in pregnancy,” the 40-year-old singer and her partner Sam Asghari, 28, wrote in a joint statement on Instagram on Saturday.
Britney and Sam met on a video shoot in 2016. The couple intends to marry later this year. The baby would have been their first child together.
Despite the heavy blow of fate, Britney is sticking to her dream of having children. “We will continue to try to expand our beautiful family,” she writes to her fans.
Her fiancé reacts lovingly: “We will soon receive our miracle,” he comments on the post. And proves: He will not leave Britney alone in this difficult time …
Regarding the prospect of becoming a father, Asghari wrote on Instagram in April that he had always wanted this, “and I don’t take it lightly. It’s the most important job I’ll ever do.”
One that he hopes to pick up soon.
