The official “Wacken Open Air” was canceled for the second time in a row due to the corona pandemic and postponed to 2022. Now the replacement event has also hit it.
“Bullhead City”, the smaller edition of the heavy metal festival in Wacken (Schleswig-Holstein), is canceled due to Corona.
The festival could not take place due to the current corona developments in the Steinburg district, the organizers announced on Monday.
“In view of the current and expected developments, an exuberant festival is unimaginable due to the high scale of the measures to be taken, which include a mask requirement in almost all areas of the festival,” it says in the Message.
The open air in the 2000 inhabitant community was planned for mid-September (16th to 18th), with two stages and dozens of bands.
