Cabify presents a new category in collaboration with Easy Taxi

As of Wednesday, January 9, users of may request Easy Economy services from the application of Cabify in Lima, an option that will be expanded to the cities where has a presence in the country: Arequipa, Chiclayo, Cusco, Lima, Piura and Trujillo. This is a collaboration that the Spanish company will implement with the support of EasyTaxi, to provide Peruvians with the mobility platform with the highest security filters on the market with a greater availability of vehicles. Similarly, it opens the possibility for drivers to receive more requests from now on.

For Jorge Romero, Country Manager of Cabify Peru, this cooperation represents a commitment to continue improving security in the country’s transportation system. “We are aware that cities and their inhabitants demand aspects such as safety, comfort and availability from mobility. That is why this cooperation is so important for our market. Both brands focus on security as a business strategy and on improving the way we move by adapting to the changing needs of users”.

This new category, which will be called Easy Economy, will make available to users of Cabify a broader network of driver partners so they can travel with low-cost fares while expanding coverage. To request a service Easy from Cabify, users must have the cash payment method enabled. Once this option is activated, they will only have to enter the application and select the “Easy Economy” category, so the platform will locate the closest service and announce the estimated waiting time to the user.
