Agents from the Argentine Naval Prefecture (PNA) seized a shipment of marijuana that was intended to be brought into the country along the coast of the city of Posadas.
According to official Force sources, the operation began when PNA personnel, who were carrying out a river patrol at kilometer 1,610 of the Paraná River, observed a boat crossing from the coast. Paraguayan to Argentine, with two crew members and various packages on board.
As a result of this, the Prefecture approached the place where the boat was embarked and found, abandoned, 20 packages that contained 403 marijuana loaves inside. The seized drug, which weighs 336 kilograms, is valued at more than 46,600,000 pesos, the spokespersons detailed.
