Caribbean travel: Cuba relaxes the entry rules in November

Havana / Berlin
Cuba opens up to foreign tourists. In November, the obligation to quarantine after entry is to be lifted.

Holidays in Cuba will soon be much easier again: From November 15, all passengers who have been vaccinated with a vaccine recognized in their country of origin will be able to enter the country unhindered. The Cuban Tourist Office in Berlin informs about this and refers to a press conference of the Cuban Minister for Tourism, Juan Carlos García Granda.

As of November 7th, the preventive quarantine measure upon entry will be lifted. Children up to twelve years of age do not need a vaccination or test. Unvaccinated travelers are required to present a negative PCR test carried out in the country of origin 72 hours after their arrival in Cuba at the earliest.

Cuba is currently still a high-risk corona area. There is one
Travel warning of the Foreign Office.
