Cart chaos in “My husband can” – Thore Schölermann fails due to a breakdown vehicle

Moderator Daniel Boschmann (41) wanted to know again on Monday evening: which prominent couple wins “My husband can” and will be named “power couple” at the end of the show?

Four couples competed and gave it their all – broken props included.

Before the games started, however, the guests chatted happily about their partners.

Moderator Jochen Bendel (54) had his husband Matthias Pridöhl (36) with him and revealed that there will probably never be any problems with communication between the two: “I’m married to a social worker who talks to me all day.”

Ex-kicker Mario Basler (53) brought his partner Doris Büld (52), who revealed completely new sides of her partner: “Mario is the quiet one at home.”

Marriage proposal with “Rocky” quote

Former gymnast Fabian Hambüchen (34) and his newly wed wife Viktoria (31) also took on the “My husband can” challenge.

While Fabian had to sit still in his dressing room, Vicky talked about the high bar professional’s surprising marriage proposal in the Maldives: “I really didn’t get it. Until the last moment I thought: What is he doing? Why does he have such a red face? And then all of a sudden he starts and quotes Rocky with ‘What are you planning to do for the next 30 or 40 years?’ and then I thought: ‘I know that saying, that was the marriage proposal!’ And then suddenly he was on his knees. And then I slowly realized what was going on.”

The new parents Jana (35) and Thore Schölermann (37) had sacrificed their child-free evening to win the 10,000 euros for a good cause.

The fact that Thore was in a cabin for a while didn’t bother his wife in the least: “Our date night, and it’s still separate. Maybe it’s better that way.”

Chaos Cart stressed Schölermann

She was still proud of her husband when he managed to stuff 25 inflatable animals into a car. However, Bendel’s husband Matthias quickly caught up by being able to correctly classify several objects in a beauty case. Fabian Hambüchen despaired of getting pieces of soap through a lattice on his side and had to leave the show after the round with his Vicky.

Schölermann then had to play the “Golfcart-Golf” game again. Here it was necessary to hole an oversized golf ball with the help of the cart. A task that Thore despaired of. He kept cursing, “Shit, shit, shit.”

And then there was this: the golf cart suddenly couldn’t be moved.

Now Jana got stressed too: “The thing is over!” Moderator Boschmann tried his best to get the vehicle running again, but then realized: “You’ve done it now. The cart doesn’t work anymore. Luckily we have a replacement car.”

Also lucky in misfortune for Thore: Because of the technical difficulties, he was given eleven extra seconds. Thore was supposed to hole four giant golf balls in one and a half minutes with the new vehicle, but had to admit defeat in the end. With that, the two were eliminated – and rushed straight out of the studio with the golf cart: “We’ll be gone then. Was fun.”

Boschmann commented dryly: “One car is worn out, but it wasn’t enough.”

Jochen Bendel and Matthias Pridöhl are the new “power couple”

Thus the final decided between Bendel and Basler. In the last game, a miniature car had to be maneuvered across a track with a hard spaghetto. Here, Bendel’s husband Matthias had the staying power and was able to celebrate the title of “My husband can” power couple with his partner.

They donate their profits to the “Omihunde-Netzwerk”, which takes care of old dogs, and to a children’s project in Ukraine.
