“I’ve crossed the line”

Now he comes out with the language!

Maroon 5 frontman Adam Levine (43) is currently in the final line of bad cheating rumors about an Instagram model. Now he’s speaking out and saying…

… the rumors are not true. But: “I crossed the line,” Levine said in his Instagram story.

What he means by that remains a mystery. Still, he doesn’t seem to have completely denied what the allegations are about.

► As a reminder: Just five days ago, the singer and his wife, supermodel Behati Prinsloo (34), announced that baby number three was on the way.

But then reported an alleged affair of the rock star – Sumner straw (23). She claims that something happened between her and Levine while he was already dating his wife Behati. Ouch…

The Instagram model also posted what she claims to be Levine’s message: “I can’t believe how f*cking hot you are. It blows my mind.” In reality, she looked “50 times hotter,” the singer allegedly wrote to her.

Adam Levine now accuses the model of lying. Yet, oddly enough, he writes: “I have shown poor judgment in speaking to anyone other than my wife in any flirtatious manner. I didn’t have an affair, but I crossed a line at an unfortunate time in my life.”

In this extremely opaque PR-speak, Levine admits to having had contact with the model – at least indirectly.

Apparently Levine also refers to general allegations of alleged infidelity: “In certain cases it was inappropriate. I have addressed this and taken proactive steps to work this out with my family.”

He concludes, “My wife and family are all I care about in this world. Being so naive and stupid to risk the only thing that really matters to me was the biggest mistake I could ever make. I will never do it again. I take full responsibility. We will get through it, together.”

Observers of Fremdgeh-Zoff are likely to have more questions after this statement. Maybe he should change his press company first…
