Clear distinction between north and south this weekend

The weekend weather offers varying weather conditions. The weather gods invite the use of rainwear in the north, while those who live in southern Norway can go for lighter garments.

Despite the fact that spring is statistically a season with little rainfall, northerners in particular must prepare for building weather.

– Nordland generally gets bad weather this weekend, says meteorologist in StormGeo, Roar Teigen to TV 2.

Soft consonants prevail

The people of Sørland have had a lot of good weather lately. There has been little rainfall and several nice spring days.

And this weekend, it seems that the trend continues.

– Sørlandet has a lot of good weather. It will be temperatures up to 17 degrees, and it will last throughout the weekend, says Teigen.

The same applies to large parts of southern Norway. Nevertheless, there are some areas that must expect periods of wet asphalt and earthworms.

– Møre og Romsdal and Western Norway will have partly cloudy weather. There will be scattered rain showers, but with little precipitation, says the meteorologist.

Still, there is no reason to hang with the beak. Throughout tomorrow, westerners will have stay-at-home weather.

The first part of Sunday is characterized by light cloud cover and scattered rain. This loosens during the day, and it will be mostly stay-at-home weather.

The hosts

In contrast to the southern parts of the country, the population to the north must be in rough weather.

On Saturday there are several rain showers over Trøndelag and Nordland. This worsens over the weekend.

– In the northern parts of Trøndelag there will be some showers, says Teigen and continues:

– There will be even more in Nordland. Here it will be a very gray day with rain and snow showers, and a small northwesterly gale.

Further north in Troms and Finnmark there is some rain in South Troms and west in Finnmark. The remaining part of Finnmark will have stay-at-home weather and periods of sunshine.

Meteorologist in StormGeo sums up the weekend weather by saying that the rainy weather characterizes northern Norway, and that fine weather dominates in southern and eastern Norway.

– It is typical spring weather, with showers in some places, he says.
