Coast: Senamhi warns of an increase in winds from Tumbes to Arequipa

The National Service of Meteorology and Hydrology of Peru (Senamhi) reported that, from this Monday, June 27, to Tuesday, June 28, the increase in wind will be recorded on the coast from Tumbes to Arequipa.

According to, this increase will generate the lifting of dust/sand and the reduction of horizontal visibility on the coast of Ica, mainly. In addition, a drop in temperature and an increase in the sensation of cold, cloud cover and fog/mist are expected during the night and early morning hours.
