Sledgehammer Games is grappling with the final touches of Call of Duty Vanguard, the new episode of the series expected on PC, PS5, PS4, Xbox Series X/S e Xbox One on November 5, 2021, and which will bring back fans of the series Activision in the Second World War.
The developers have released the video of COD Vanguard’s Zombies mode, and are also working on some changes to COD Vanguard’s gameplay after the Beta, but apparently the surprises aren’t over yet. The American software house has in fact announced the opening of a new study based at Guildford, in the United Kingdom, which will join the teams already established in San Fransico, Toronto and Melbourne for the realization of future chapters of Call of Duty and to support other projects in the pipeline at Activision.
“I am really excited to bring our brand to the UK, along with the incredible franchise we are working on“, dice Andy Wilson, COO of Sledgehammer Games, who adds: “This is another opportunity in our small way to grow the gaming industry, in a place where there is a large number of talented developers.“. To his words are added those of Liz Wyle, general manager of Sledgehammer UK, who is confident that the new working group will be composed of high quality authors: “Guildford has a long history of video game development, and as a result there are numerous high-profile talent and a community of developers both here and in the surrounding towns. We are also very close to London, which is even richer in talent“.
Sledgehammer therefore looks to the future with optimism, waiting to find out what it will reserve for the company once the work on COD Vanguard is finished.
