Colo Colo players who have never played a Superclassic with an audience

Colo Colo will face Universidad de Chile this Sunday in the 190th edition of the Chilean soccer Superclásico. Match that will focus all eyes and will have an additional ingredient, will be played with the public in the stands.

The sanitary restrictions, caused by the covid-19, forced the suspension of sports competitions in March 2020. In August, and after the approval of sanitary protocols, the return of competitions was authorized, but without an audience in the stands, a measure that was lasted for a year.

During this time, three were the Superclásicos, without fans, played among the most popular casts in the country: The first was played on September 6, 2020 at the National Stadium, a match that ended 1-1 with scores from Gonzalo Espinoza and Esteban Paredes; Both teams met again in January 2021, with a new draw, this time without goals.

During this competition, they met again without an audience at the Monumental, where the victories for the Cacique returned, winning 1-0 with a score by Leonardo Gil. This weekend the faces will be seen again and with new conditions since 2 thousand blue fans will be able to attend the meeting.
