The 2021 Youth Soccer Championship is in full swing. This morning, Colo Colo visited the main court of the Santa Laura stadium to face Unión Española, for the Under-21 category, in a match corresponding to the second date of the competition. Meeting that ended 2-0 in favor of Hispanics.
El Cacique jumped onto the pitch with a fairly mixed team, where players born in 2002, 2003 and 2004 saw action. Among the best-known names in the category, they saw action: Julio Fierro, Nicolás Garrido, Daniel Gutiérrez, Danilo Díaz and Lucas Soto. Those who usually train with the first team.
The formation of the popular cast was with: Julio Fierro; Santiago Bravo, Nicolas Garrido, Daniel Gutierrez, Diego Ulloa; Bastián Silva, Danilo Diaz, Lucas Soto; Francisco Rivera, Rodrigo Cisterna and Francisco García. In the second part they entered Dylan Portilla, Javier Rojas and Enzo Romero.
El Cacique was a broad dominator in the first stage, unable to find the goal. When everything seemed to end with a blank scoreboard, the Hispanics gave the surprise and in the 45th minute they took the lead with a score from Gabriel Norambuena, after a rebound from Fierro. While, in the discounts, the final 2-0 came with a score from Vicente Conelli, who took the second ball after the Cacique’s goalkeeper saved a penalty kick.
The next challenge in the category will be against Cobresal, a date to be determined, at the Monumental stadium.
