THANK YOU – to RTL and the new DSDS jury!
I finally enjoy watching the casting show again. It’s modern, upbeat, entertaining, family-friendly – and caters to the young men and women who find the courage to sing in front of millions of people and possibly take a little bit of their dream of becoming a famous singer to get closer.
Ilse DeLange (44), Florian Silbereisen (40) and Toby Gad (53) have long been superstars, each in their own field. They know what it means to take defeats and still do what they believe in. Your success proves you right.
I enjoyed the first episode, was touched and excited. And, yes, I’m already looking forward to Tuesday when DSDS continues.
The first critics are already talking about a ratings flop again, since “only” almost 3 million people tuned in to the first show. That was also the case in the past few years, it increased from show to show and it will be the same now.
I’m also sure that ARD and ZDF will benefit from the popularity of “their” star Florian Silbereisen, because the younger RTL audience will also watch his programs on public broadcasters in the future. And the broadcasters don’t have to worry about young musicians.
The candidates of the new DSDS season are so vocal, likeable and suitable for the stage – I would be surprised if we didn’t see the only 17-year-old Abigail (!), Harry or Gianni soon in one of Silbereisen’s “Feste” shows, or on the dream ship.
I’m looking forward to it!
