The Government of President Nayib Bukele is establishing a series of strategies in order to favor micro and small businesses, to provide them with opportunities for greater production and growth.
The National Commission for Micro and Small Businesses (CONAMYPE), together with the Special Fund for Resources from the Privatization of ANTEL (FANTEL), announced the start of the First Festival of Art and Design El Salvador 2022 (FADSV), an event that It also has the support of the United States Agency for International Development (USAID).
“Something that has been really being worked on since 2019, step by step the fashion cluster in El Salvador has grown, in order to reach a point where we are now talking about art, creativity and design”, Conamype president Paul Steiner said.
The festival will last four days, from September 29 to October 2 at Salamanca Events, in Nuevo Cuscatlán, starting at 10:00 am free admission. The festival aims to promote the art and design sectors as generators of innovation and creativity, since through this fundamental contributions are generated for economic growth through local development.
The authorities affirmed that with the development of this event, more than 200 micro and small companies will benefit. The festival will also promote Salvadoran cultural identity through innovation, design and art, as it will be available to visitors, workshops, artistic presentations, parades, talks and presentations by national and international leaders of the creative industry.
“On September 29 it will be on the theme of creative business, on the 30th it will be the theme of women in industry and business”detailed the president of Conamype.
The Government of President Bukele promotes these types of actions to open spaces and opportunities that enhance the development of the country’s productive sectors, so that in this way they can open the way to higher value markets.
