Fortuna Düsseldorf will have to do without midfielder Shinta Appelkamp for the next few days. As reported by the second division, a PCR test of the 20-year-old was positive on Wednesday yesterday. He was placed in quarantine at home and is currently out.
On Tuesday, Appelkamp left the German U21 national team before their game against Hungary due to illness. The attacker apparently caught the infection during this international trip.
Midfielder Shinta Appelkamp was quarantined at home on Wednesday after a positive PCR test. Despite double vaccination, he shows symptoms typical of COVID-19 and is therefore canceled for the time being.
