Covid-19 report: the number of cases goes back above 90 on August 1

The Ministry of Health, during the last assessment of covid-19 contaminations, communicated this Monday, August 1, 2022, reports ninety-two (92) new contaminations recorded during the last 24 hours, against eighty (80) cases of contamination identified yesterday. This same assessment reports seventy (70) cases of recovery. While the number of cases had been at its lowest for months, there has been an increase in the number of contaminations for a few weeks.

As for the victims of the coronavirus epidemic, the report drawn up by the department of the Minister of Health of Benbouzid, over the last 24 hours, does not report any deaths from complications linked to Covid-19. . While for yesterday’s report, Sunday July 31, 2022, no deaths were recorded.

Number of patients in intensive care

The Ministry of Health specifies in its press release of this Monday, August 1, 2022, that six (6) patients are currently in intensive care.

Since March 2020, the coronavirus epidemic has appeared in Algeria, our country has recorded a total balance sheet amounting to 267,546 contaminations, 6,876 deaths and 179,534 recoveries.
