The Norwegian princess Ingrid Alexandra turned 18 on January 21, but then the celebration was postponed due to the then prevailing corona pandemic.
But last week the delayed celebration started! And in what way.
The guest list was filled with royal families, including Crown Princess Victoria, Prince Daniel, Prince Oscar and Princess Estelle. The newly engaged couple, Crown Princess Märhta Louise and Durek Verett were also on the guest list.

The celebration began on Thursday with a gala dinner in Oslo’s new main library. Then the celebration continued on Friday!
The party cost so much
But what was the price tag for the whole party then? Yes, it tells the Norwegian newspaper, VG.
The head of communications, Anne Kristin Hjukse at the Prime Minister’s Office, tells the Norwegian newspaper just that.
– In the summer of 2021, the government decided to set a budget of 3.5 million Norwegian kroner for the event. Since then, some of the conditions have changed, she writes in an email.
The conditions that have changed include that the rent for technical equipment has risen sharply since the pandemic.
The final figures are not available, but according to the latest review, the budget for the event is approximately SEK 3.7 million, says Anne Kristin Hjukse to VG.
It may seem expensive, but you only turn 18 once in a lifetime!
