Dadju brings together the Sexion d’Assaut for his concert at the Parc des Princes

The cult group, which recently reformed for a tour-event, surprised the public of Dadju on Saturday evening.

Dadju fans were treated to several surprise guests during his Saturday night concert at the Parc des Princes. But the highlight of the evening was undoubtedly the appearance on stage of the Sexion d’Assaut.

The formation led by Gims, Dadju’s big brother, arrived in front of the public to sing gold recordtheir 2012 hit from their latest album titled The Apogee.

The Returning Kings

This unexpected performance comes as the Sexion d’Assaut ensures since last March a tour across France, the first since their separation in 2013, which will continue over the summer. This song tour entitled The Return of the Kings, announced in 2020 and delayed by the coronavirus, must be accompanied by a new album. The release of the disc was scheduled for May 14 and its marketing was to be done only in physical version at the places of their concerts. But the project was finally postponed to a later date, for the moment unspecified.

“There is a delay on the project, it’s obvious,” Gims said this week on Skyrock. “We don’t talk about it because people love the shows, everyone leaves with something positive and we don’t want to bring something up on the carpet that is a disappointment for them. We’re on the case, that advance.”

In addition to Sexion d’Assaut, a parade of stars rushed to the stage of the Parc des Princes to visit Dadju. According to the website Booska-Plead singer of Queen also received Imen Es, Ninho or Gazo.
