The conflict in the Dos Bocas refinery broke out this Wednesday. After last Tuesday at least 5,000 workers of the company ICA Flour (representing 17% of the workforce) they left the facilities in protest to demand Better work conditions, a confrontation between the paristas and the local and federal authorities that left several injured.

Police and agents of the National Guard (GN) made an appearance at the facilities of this megaproject promoted byr Andrés Manuel López Obrador (AMLO) to repress the protesters. In videos circulated on social networks, several injured were observed, some of them seriously, and even shots were reported.

The first reports detailed that there were at least five injured and one dead, who supposedly lost his life during his transfer to the hospital; however, moments later it was reported that this information was false, as no refinery workers lost their lives during the conflict.

As soon as this information was released, the media sought out Dew nahle, head of the Ministry of Energy (Later) to question her on the subject. The meeting with the press took place outside the National Palace and highlighted that there are only 10 people who are dissatisfied with the payment and the double shifts, but he made it clear that the federal administration will not allow “there to be a disorder”, as well as for a “small group with a particular intention” to affect one of the famous works of the Fourth transformation (4T).

“It’s a lie … when they do ‘doublet’, they call it, in turn, the companies pay them ‘doublet’, but there are 10 people who are with this and that … well …we will not allow there to be a disorderWe are not going to allow a small group with a particular intention or of particular benefit to affect such an important work, ”said the official.

These words were compared with the controversial phrase of the former president of Mexico Gustavo Diaz Ordaz (1964-1970), known for having been the orchestrator of the tragic night of October 2, 1968, when thousands of young students were brutally murdered by soldiers: “We have been tolerant to excesses, criticized, but everything has a limit …

In addition to the statements, the repression, injuries and intimidation suffered by the Dos Bocas workers generated a discussion among social network users, who continued their similes between Díaz Ordaz, the national president and Rocío Nahle.

“Every day there are displays of ignominy from which some call 4T, but today marks a milestone. In Dos Bocas there was a repression against workers. Those who defend it, or want to minimize it, are accomplices of it. What was said: every time he looks more like Díaz Ordaz”Wrote Raúl Tejo Delarbe, Social Sciences researcher at the National Autonomous University of Mexico (ONE).

Other netizens shared a mythical photograph of the former president, in which he is laughing, and pointed out that at this time he would be very proud of the action taken by the federal government to stop the demonstration in en Paradise, in the state of Tabasco. “Gustavo Díaz Ordaz has just uncorked a bottle in hell due to today’s events in Mexico ”, they wrote.

Some memes were also present in Twitter to indicate that AMLO had become a “mix” of the previous presidents and they assured that this fact would mark his mandate as has his lawsuit with feminist women, the opposition or politicians who have faced him, such as Diego Fernandez de Cevallos O Ricardo Anaya.

“Díaz Ordaz had his tlatelolco Echeverria had his falconazo Salinas had his Sn Juan chamula Fox had his atenco Amlo had his tlahuelilpan, helicopterazo, Culiacanazo, aguililla, flood of tabasco and tula, Olivos / tlahuac, chiquihuite, baby’O, two mouths and counting”, The people sentenced in some tweets.

Finally they condemned the brutality with which the security agents attacked the workers and even asked for a popular consultation to prosecute López Obrador for genocide due to all the conflicts and deaths registered during the three years of his administration. Because of everything that happened this October 13, people hope that during the conference “morning“AMLO provides more details on the matter, as well as a strong defensive posture.
