Announced last May, DreamWorks Dragons: Legends of the Nine Kingdoms has just received a first gameplay demo.
A nice throwback to childhood!
This title should thus offer an exciting adventure through the kingdoms of the hidden world, including the twilight world of the Valley of Darkness and the Cave of Crystals of the Lands of the King. This short overview also reveals a little more about the four dragons in the game, their skills and abilities, as well as some of the bosses you will have to defeat. The plot will therefore feature Tonnerre, Bissocorn, Panache Wu and Wei in an adventure filled with fights letting their powers speak.
With the game heavily inspired by the DreamWorks Dragons: The Nine Realms series, players will be able to fly and dive at the controls of these dragons, and sail towards their ultimate goal: to save the Thunder family and the Dragon Kingdoms. Experienced fans can also put themselves to the test in the ‘Challenge’ mode, with replayable levels that become even more difficult upon completion.
Finally, to mark the release of the game, Outright Games will include a special forty-page booklet in the physical editions of the game on all platforms. This booklet will allow fans to delve into the events that unfolded during the 1,300 years between the end of the Dragons films and the new series.
As a reminder, DreamWorks Dragons: Legends of the Nine Kingdoms will be available from September 23 on PC, PS4, PS5, Nintendo Switch, Stadia, Xbox One and Xbox Series X|S.
