El Salvador celebrates 200 days without homicides during the Government of Nayib Bukele

El Salvador has reached 200 days without registering homicides between June 1, 2019 and September 20, 2022, thanks to the strategies promoted by the Government of President Nayib Bukele, in terms of security.

“In previous governments it was impossible to have more than one day without homicides. Now, as a result of the War against Gangs, Salvadorans are living a True Independence, in Freedom and peace, “said the Government.

Since the implementation of the Territorial Control Plan (in the streets, neighborhoods and communities), the Exception Regime (at the national level), the Safe Transport Plan (in the collective transport units), the Zero Leisure Plan (in the prisons, with inmates in the of trust), Plan Cero Grafitis (the cleaning of graffiti alluding to gangs), El Salvador has managed to get off the list of the most violent countries in the world.
