From Software’s Elden Ring was released in February 2022 and we loved every second of it. Success usually leads to more companies wanting to ride the wave of success and this is no exception of course.
Now announces Steamforged that a Kickstarter campaign for a board game called Elden Ring: The Board Game is starting soon. In it, you can either play alone or with up to three friends, and no dice will be used. Not much else is known about the board game right now, but more information is promised in the near future once the Kickstarter campaign is launched.
In the past, Steamforged Games has made board games based on Horizon: Zero Dawn, Resident Evil and Dark Souls, among others.
“— 1-4 ‘Tarnished’ players will embark on a huge and varied adventure, visiting iconic locations and crossing paths with familiar enemies and characters.
The video game’s characteristically challenging fights will be recreated by intelligent dice-free combat, requiring players to strategize and adapt their plans during each encounter — whether that be a lowly Godrick Soldier or the Grafted King himself.”
