2:35 p.m. : The war in Ukraine and “the legitimate aspiration of this people”, “like Moldova and Georgia to join the European Union”, invites to “rethinking our geography and the organization of our continent”. 2:31 p.m. : Emmanuel Macron proposes to create “a European political community” which could in particular welcome Ukraine.

2:30 p.m. : Ukraine, through its fight and its courage, is already a heartfelt member of our Europe, of our family, of our union (…). 2:14 p.m. : If you watch Emmanuel Macron’s speech (which is his first major speech since his re-election), you have heard that the presidential election was mentioned: “France has once again clearly chosen Europe by giving me a new mandate to work with all of you to build a stronger and more sovereign Europe”did he declare.

2:09 p.m. : “However, we are not at war with Russia. For the preservation of the sovereignty and territorial integrity of Ukraine, for the return of peace to our continent, it belongs only to Ukraine to define the conditions for negotiations with Russia.”

2:07 p.m. : “For justice to speak, we fight and we will fight against impunity for the unspeakable crimes committed by Russia in Ukraine.”
