Epic Games would be preparing to give away one game a day for Christmas

Since Epic Games launched its PC store with the Epic Games Store has been giving away video games for its users every week, although around Christmas they tend to get even more generous. It seems that will be the case once again and Epic Games is preparing to give away one game a day before Christmas.

The information comes from the well-known Dealabs leaker billbill-kun, who usually filters the games that come to the Epic Games Store, Xbox Game Pass, Gold and PlayStation Plus. According to the leaker, in mid-December Epic Games will start giving away one game a day for the remainder of the month, possibly until January 10.

Since its launch, the Epic Games Store has given away hundreds of games, ranging from independent titles to AAA productions. This week you can redeem the acclaimed Star Wars: Squadrons for free on the Epic Games Store and last week they gave away Evil Dead: The Game so we’ve been doing really well so far in November and it looks like December will be better.

In 2019 the Epic Games Store gave away 12 games over the Christmas period, but in both 2020 and 2021 they gave away 15 games over the same period. Epic Games is expected to repeat what it did last year and start giving away one game a day during the second half of December, although there are no theories at the moment about which games they will be giving away.

Usually the Epic Games Store gives away highly acclaimed games as Christmas approaches and although they may give away some duplicates, it is worth paying attention to increase our library of free digital games. Remember that you don’t need to download the games to make them part of your library, so you can get them even if you don’t have a PC to play on.
