ESC – Which country holds the ESC score record

From May 10th to 14th, 2022, the 66th ESC will take place in Turin in the PalaOlimpico. This time, performers from 40 countries will take part.

But which country has cleared the most points in the 66-year history of the European singing competition? Where did the ESC victory go most often? Who is still at “Zero Points”?

Here are some number games Eurovision Song Contest:

✷ Ireland is at the top with seven first places, followed by Sweden with six ESC victories.

✷Great Britain has “only” won five times in comparison, but with a total of 15 second places it was most often among the top three.

✷Also interesting: Germany does not find itself in the top places in terms of victories, but in terms of frequency of participation: our interpreters have already performed a total of 60 times. And they’re not that bad! In the list of the best, Germany is in fifth place with a total of 3064 points.

✷In the total number of points in the all-time top list, however, Sweden is in first place with 4128 points and 55 participations.

✷The Czech Republic (four participations) and Andorra (six participations) have not received a single point so far. But what is not, can still be. Until then, the same applies to ESC: taking part is everything.
