Eurovision Song Contest 2022: an edition like no other
This 66th edition of the Eurovision Song Contest was marked in particular by the war in Ukraine. A few days after the invasion of the country, the European Broadcasting Union, which supervises the event, had chosen to exclude Russia from the musical competition. For its part, Ukraine had selected a few days before the start of hostilities their representatives, members of the group Kalush Orchestra, and their song Stefania. Artists who may well have been present in Turin, and who for a few weeks, monopolized the first place of the bookmakers. France, meanwhile, was represented by the group Alvan & Ahez, and the song in Breton Fulenn.
