F1 22 has made some interesting changes to the established formula with which Codemasters brought its simcade series to success. One of the most representative innovations of the new edition is undoubtedly the debut of a VR mode, made available for PC viewers.
Of course there are many owners of PlayStation 5 who hope to experience F1 22’s VR mode firsthand once PlayStation VR 2 will finally be available. Unfortunately, it appears that Codemasters currently has other priorities and official PSVR2 support may be slow in coming, assuming it is introduced sooner or later.
The development studio in the hands of Electronic Arts said, in the course of a recent interview with UploadVR, of “have no plans for PSVR2 at the moment“even if the team continues to observe all possible opportunities of growth for the future. So there is nothing to do but wait and hope.
Through a game update published yesterday, F1 22 welcomed Portimao, with the Autodromo Internacional do Algarve joining the title track list. The next stop is set for 12 September, when the Shanghai International Circuit will be introduced. For further information on the racing game of Codemasterswe refer you to our F1 22 review.
