Good mood on (international) Father’s Day!
Prince William (39) is in a celebratory mood: on the one hand, the father of three makes the children laugh on Father’s Day, on the other hand, the Duke of Cambridge is preparing for his 40th birthday on July 21st.
The photo the Cambridges released for Father’s Day was taken on a family vacation in the Jordanian desert and the family are clearly having fun. The proud dad sits in the middle between Princess Charlotte (7) and Prince George (8).
His young tomboy, Prince Louis (4), is already practicing sitting up and enthroned on dad’s shoulders. William beams with satisfaction, the children seem to be having the fun of their lives.
Jordan plays a very special role in the life of the Cambridges. Because Duchess Kate had lived there for three years when her father Michael was transferred to the capital Amman in the 80s. She herself was two at the time, her sister just eight months.
Maybe that’s why everyone in the picture looks so relaxed. It’s not just a vacation, it’s also a piece of Mama Kate’s home.
Buckingham Palace posted more photos on another Twitter account. One of them shows Prince Charles (73) with his sons William and Harry (37) when they were both young. A nice reminder of the adolescence when the brothers were still of one heart and one soul.
The younger brother and his wife Meghan (40) broke away from the royal family in 2020 and started a new life with their two children Archie (3) and Lilibet (1).
The dispute between the royal brothers escalated after Harry and Meghan interviewed talk show legend Oprah Winfrey. The two raised serious allegations against the royal family. Among other things, there should have been racist statements about Meghan.
The photo of William and his children, however, shows the picture-book family as everyone knows them.
