Mexico City.- Filming on the movie Black Panther 2 has resumed, after filming was suspended for several months due to an injury suffered by actress Letitia Wright.
The accident occurred in August last year in Boston when the British was performing a trick that ended in a shoulder injury. At first it seemed like a simple thing, but three months later Marvel released a statement saying otherwise.
“What we initially thought were minor injuries turned out to be much more serious, as Letitia sustained a critical shoulder fracture and concussion with serious side effects,” the statement said.
The film continues despite the death of its protagonist, Chadwick Boseman, who died in 2020 from cancer he had had for a few years.
There are no plot details yet, but it is known that Wright, who plays Shuri, the superhero’s younger sister, will have more relevance in this sequel.
The British actress disappeared from her social networks in December 2020, after being harshly criticized for speaking out against the Covid vaccine in a video.
It was rumored that the actress’s anti-vaccine stance was also delaying the filming of the film, as Wright (London) returned home to recover from his injury and to enter the United States he had to get vaccinated first. It is unknown if the vaccine was finally given.
